For Geraldine

Hello Geraldine (and everyone)! Been ditching this blog for... I don't know how long! It's only been two months since the year started but it felt like forever. So many things have already happened and I feel so tired. I have so many thoughts in mind but I don't know how to start talking about the things I've been keeping for so long. I was sad for a while but things will (surely) get better right! This may sound cliche, but, hey, believe it or not, it's just a matter of perspective, really. Because, it starts with ourselves and ends with ourselves. We are what we think (and what we eat whooop). Life hits you because it's supposed to hit you--to become better and soon, the best. I am never a good writer. This is just a blog post and I don't know if this makes any sense at all and I don't know if you'll just scroll this post down to see the photos, but if you didn't (YES GERALDINE), then I am virtually giving you a hug now, man! We are sad because we are human. We struggle, struggled and will struggle again. Good things end they say, then let me say, bad things will end, too. So to you who is reading this and is asking why life's giving you all the bricks, it's okay to be sad--healthy even. Be sad as long as you want, but never forget that there's this day that you need to stand up and find yourself again and see the beauty of life, even if life, itself, is the reason why you feel sad. As the saying goes, "A bit sad, but still rad!". You, you, and you, cheers because we are all rad! That's all.

Rendezvous

Update! As I was writing this, I am currently waiting for my hair to get dry because movies with my former blockmates!!!! The HUNGER GAMES CATCHING FIRE is finally in my favour! (LOL) Working as fast as I could because this can wait, and Finnick Odair can't. Does that make sense?

With the difficulty on connecting my latter words to this paragraph , let me just slide for now and move on to the next topic. Wearing leggings, plain or printed, becomes a habit of mine now. I am such a sucker for go-to pieces and laid-back outwears. School is basically the reason why.

My mind won't let me think of anything than let the hunger games begin! Haha. Have a nice day!

The Great Perhaps

Working on my backlogs, as promised. Skipped studying (my second accounting quiz tomorrow) for me to post this. This is cheating. Believe me when I say BLOGGING. IS. GOOD. I Got Soul

It was always been my dream to do skate boarding and wear outfits like this, like, um, you know, one of those girls in movies who swings and looks cool while baiting with her deck though I'm too unfortunate I don't have one, ugh, poor me. Anyhow, laid-back dresses sure don't get old and left out since they're neutral. And I think matching them with sneakers is on the limelight nowadays. Okay, so that was me trying what's on trends.

Wine Out

Went out with my blockmates today to catch up with my bad blogger habits since I have tons of free time after attending a seminar (and not to mention after my uni’s midterm exams) and at the same time to take a quick break because finals is approaching in the next three weeks.

Walking around Bakakeng (a place here in Baguio)’s seriously the best decision I’ve ever made since I have arrived here. I’ve been staying here for like four months now and I haven’t gone to any tourist’s spots (except Burnham considering the fact that it is where jeepneys going to where I live are located) due to school works, as usual, but I guess after this  I’ll be out a bit more, Baguio is just too pretty to ignore.

And I finally decided to bid goodbye to my old photo editor and use Adobe Photoshop CS3 and holy broccoli the photos turned out really well!

She

Whenever I open my lookbook account or just read a style blog, I find it more interesting to see an edgy look than the sweet girly ones. So as I was browsing my closet on what to wear on our photoshoot that day, I came up with this style.

I seriously gathered all my guts to wear a tank top since I don't really wear tees showing my arm and skin and matched it with this high-waisted shorts I've had back in my elementary days. Like denim, checkered polos are staple piece of one's clothing, they're universal for they can be worn and be matched with anything. So to bring a bit spice to my look, I decided to wrap it to my hips to complete my punk rock style kind of day.
